Everyone returned to the vacation house after a delightful day spent outdoors. Laughter echoed in the air, yet Vikram and Tara were enveloped in an unsettling silence. Avni and Nisha attempted to engage Tara in conversation, and despite the turmoil brewing inside her, Tara pretended to be okay. She smiled and joined in their lively exchange, but Vikram's gaze lingered on her, filled with regret for his earlier harshness.
